Three extra-low dispersion elements and two aspherical elements have been incorporated into the optical design to minimize chromatic aberrations and distortion in order to produce sharper images. Additionally, the lens' design features a built-in lens hood and a UMC coating has been applied to the lens elements to reduce surface reflections and prevent lens flare and ghosting for improved light transmission and more contrast-rich imagery.

  • 180° fisheye lens provides a 35mm-equivalent focal length of 12mm, making it ideally suited for interior and architectural subjects.
  • Fast f/2.8 maximum aperture benefits working in low-light conditions.
  • Three extra-low dispersion elements and two aspherical elements reduce chromatic aberrations and distortions in order to produce sharper images.
  • UMC coating improves light transmission and suppresses lens flare and ghosting for more contrast-rich, color-neutral images.
  • Built-in lens hood also helps to reduce lens flare and surface reflections.

Bought a used one from Amazon for about $125. Looks brand new to me, it came with the original box, instructions and packaging. It's in perfect shape. I've never had a fisheye and I've found this lens is a lot of fun to use.

Best third party fisheye on the market

This is one amazing fisheye lens. For being a second party brand, I am astounded by both the build quality and image quality. It is built like a tank with a good weight to it considering its size, but it's not heavy if that makes sense. It feels good in the hand. The mount is also very well machined. It clicks onto my X-T3 so smoothly, it feels like a native Fuji lens. Now the most important part; the image quality. The image quality at f/8 is sharp as a tac. I think f/8 is this lens' sweet spot. I saw little to no chromatic aberration in the attached images, which were all shot at f/8. The angle is nice and wide and gives you a quintessential bubbly fisheye look where vertical lines bend. The aperture is clicky an tactile feeling. I don't feel it would easily be knocked out of position. I am very impressed with this lens' performance for the money. My favorite use of this lens if pointing it straight up to the sky when in the middle of the forest. It really exaggerates the height of the trees and makes it seem like they're enormous, really giving the viewer a different and unique perspective. But I've also had a lot of fun using this in many other situations like cityscapes and at the Colorado Rockies ballpark. Examples of those are included in my photos. That said, there are a few small gripes I have about it. One is the physical size. While it's normally great to have a small, nimble lens that I can fit in my pocket, the tiny size sometimes makes it cumbersome to grasp the focus ring. Even using just two fingers, I sometimes end up grabbing the hood instead. If you have larger hands, this lens might annoy you. And also because it's such a short lens in terms of physical length, that sometimes my fingers or arm creep into the shot if I'm not mindful of my hand placement. I've learned to really tuck my hand and elbow in and under the camera when I use this lens. Two, the focus ring may be just a little stiff. I'd prefer if it had a touch more fluidity to it to make focusing a little faster. But this hasn't really hindered its use in any impactful way so it's not that big of a drawback. Lastly, I think this lens tends to be just a touch contrasty. Shadow recovery can sometimes be a challenge with this lens so an editor with good shadow recovery is a must.Overall, I think this is the best quality aftermarket fisheye lens you can get for Fuji bodies. If you're on the fence, just buy it, especially for this price. The pros far outweigh the cons.

Nice solid ultra-wise fisheye option

Comes with a bag to keep dust out. This lens won't save EXIF data to your camera, but if you are handy with a manual focus lens and like the ultra-wide focal length, this is a good choice. And, to be honest, if you're going ultrawide anyway, you don't really need autofocus since you'll likely be focusing to infinity to get the details of everything around you.Straight from the camera, as you can see in the first two shots (made with the Rokinon 8mm f/2.8), there is quite a bit of distortion with it being a fisheye. If you're using this for real estate photography, you're probably going to want to use something like a Lightroom profile or some other software to straighten the photos from this lens out a bit.Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with this purchase!

Don't stop it all the way down

It took me the longest time to figure out that if you want to take sharp photos with this lens, don't shoot at f22. Set the shutter speed to 1000th, open up the aperture, then it will be sharp. I think at f22 you get too much diffraction.

Very Good lens. Unfortunately got a bad copy.

It has a potential to be a great landscape addition to your kit. Especially if you are into the night sky photography. Unfortunately I received a bad copy. The very left side if the image was slightly out of focus. Not much but enough to notice at 100 % magnification. Also looking to the front the markings on the lens were slightly off set (possibly the reason for the focus issue).A returned the item.Otherwise great fun.
